We assist clients looking to purchase investment-level blue chip artworks as well as assist in the private sale of art properties.

Located in Miami, Florida, the staff of BLUE CHIP ART CO. has placed or assisted in placing over $200M in paintings and sculpture by 20th Century and Modern masters into museums and private collections, including the Maschmeyer Collection (Germany), The Copelouzos Family Museum (Greece) and the Museo Soumaya (Mexico).

In addition to the location and procurement of blue-chip art, BLUE CHIP ART CO. produces, curates and co-curates art exhibits and auctions, including the highly- successful DALI Miami, which was one of the largest exhibitions of the Master’s works in North America.

Reed V. Horth

Reed V. Horth graduated from the University of Florida with an Art History major and Journalism minor and since 1996, has conducted and/or assisted in placing nearly $100M in paintings and sculpture from 20th Century and Modern masters such as Dali, Picasso, Andy Warhol, Haring, Arman, Lichtenstein and others into museums, institutions and private collections around the world. Reed is the Head of Sales for Blue Chip Art Co., writes about art for several publications and also produces art exhibitions.

Kat Barrow-Horth

Kat Barrow-Horth graduated from Tulane University with majors in Interior Design and Psychology and minors in Art and Spanish. She is the Head of Marketing, Social Media & Client Relations for Blue Chip Art Co., which she co-founded with husband Reed in 2008. Additionally, Kat co-chairs the Cultural Affairs Committee for the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board of Directors for Life Is Art, a Miami-based non-profit which advocates for local artists through education and opportunities.

Claire Pohl

Claire Pohl graduated with honors from the University of Miami majoring in Art History and minoring in Fine Arts. She is a research writer, marketer and sales associate for Blue Chip Art Co. and has held positions in the Smithsonian Museum, HistoryMiami and the National Gallery of Art. In addition to her art sales and marketing experience, Claire is a tour director and researcher for a Fellowship in update New York where she actively participates in the preservation of New York States historic homes.
